Assist products for personal Care and Safety
This support service includes the use of assistive technology and products for personal care or safety.
We help participants find the right assistive technologies that will help them build capacity and enable them to live as independently as possible. Participants can make the most of these technologies by utilising them to meet their needs and goals. Under the NDIS, the NDIA uses three levels to assess the complexity of different Assistive Technology requirements-
This includes a range of products including but not limited to:
- Beds and pressure mattresses
- Toilets and bathroom equipment like non-slip bath maths, basic/customised shower chair, etc
- Continence needs
- Specialised clothing
- Walking sticks and ankle-foot orthotics
- Standing hoist, adjustable beds, and more.
